By plane

Bologna’s Guglielmo Marconi Airport is the main airport of the city, located about 8.5 km from the fair district. From the airport, you can reach Bologna Fiere by taxi, in about 15 minutes.

Additionally, the airport is connected to the central station and the city center by the Marconi Express monorail train, which operates every day from 5:40 am to midnight with a frequency of 15 minutes. You can reach the Marconi Express by going up to the departure floor, which is connected by a covered tunnel. At the central station, the shuttle is located inside the atrium on via de’ Carracci, accessible through the pedestrian underpasses from the Piazza Medaglie d’Oro entrance.

By train

Bologna’s central station is one of Italy’s most important railway hubs, with high-speed connections from all major Italian cities, and is only 4 km from Bologna Fiere.
From the station, you can reach the fair district with TPER city buses: lines 35 and 38 lead to the entrances of Piazza della Costituzione and Viale Aldo Moro. Alternatively, you can reach the fair by taxi, with a dedicated taxi stand located outside the station.

By car

For those who prefer to travel by car, Bologna Fiere is well connected to the main Italian highways.

From Florence, Milan, and Ancona (A14) you can reach the fair directly from the Bologna Fiera exit. From Padua, there are two options:
• Bologna ring road to exit 8 for Nord, Michelino, Moro entrances and Michelino Parking.
• Bologna ring road to exit 7 for entrance and Constitution Parking.

For people with motor disabilities, taking exit 8 of the ring road, there are reserved parking spaces near the public entrances of via Michelino and Piazza Costituzione.

By bus

To reach Bologna Fiere by public transport from the city center, we recommend taking line 28. From the train station, lines 35 and 38.

By taxi
